The Saturn Is a Large Single Hose Hookah (Shisha) Pipe
History Of Hookah (Shisha) Pipe
The Hookah pipe is said to have originated in India in the 16th century. It was produced using coconut shells and bamboo.
By the 17th century the concept had spread to Iran, the Arab world and onto Turkey. When the Hookah arrived in the Arab world manufactures started to develop it, changing the coconut shells for glass, and the bamboo for metals.
There are over one billion regular hookah smokers in the world today and popularity for the hookah is increasing all the time.
How to Hookah !
1 - Take a small pinch of High-Life Herbal Molasses and place it into the clay bowl. We recommend about 10 grams of molasses per smoke. (Make sure the molasses is not too compact, spread the molasses out so air can circulate)
2 - Take a small square of aluminium foil, big enough to cover the open top of the bowl. Wrap the foil over the top so that the surface is tight. Use a Pin to punch a small group of tiny holes in the foil.
3 - Check that the glass base is approximately two thirds full of water so that the metal tube is submerged but leaving a small chamber at the top for the smoke to settle
4 - Lite and place a Swift-Lite charcoal on the foil
5 - The Hookah is now ready to smoke - a couple of long draws to begin with should start the tobacco burning and the smooth smoke flowing!
Tips to Enhance the Smoking Experience!
Try putting ice in the glass base of your hookah and get the water ice cold before smoking. This makes for a smoother more enjoyable smoking experience.
Try mixing lemon juice, orange juice, or some other flavours into the water in your glass base. It will enhance the taste of your smoking experience.
When you first start smoking your hookah, try placing the charcoal on the outside of the bowl and working it around the edges of the bowl. The centre of the bowl should be the last place your charcoal is placed.
It is best to refrigerate your molasses and make sure it remains in an airtight container once it has been opened. This will keep the molasses from drying up and losing its flavour.
Assembly Guide
1. Take the glass base and place it on a flat surface
2. Fill the glass base with water. The water level should be approximately 2/3rd of the glass bases height. Therefore the end of the metal tube is submerged in water.
3. Take the metal part of the hookah and twist turn it into the glass base (This will be a tight fit so twist turn the metal part while you push it down into the glass.) – You may wish to lubricate the rubber part with Vaseline if the fitting is very tight.
4. Take the tray and clip it onto the metal part of the hookah that you have already fitted into the glass base.
5. Take the hose or hoses and plug them into the metal part of the hookah.
6. Place the bowl of choice on the top end of the metal part of the hookah, making sure there is a nylon grommet in place.
7. Take some molasses and place it in the bowl. We recommend smoking "High-Life Herbal Molasses" which is available in six fruity flavours.
8. Once the bowl is packed with molasses, take a small square of aluminium foil, big enough to cover the open top of the bowl. Wrap the foil over the top so that the surface is tight. Use a Pin to punch a small group of tiny holes in the foil.
9. Light and place a charcoal on the foil. We recommend using Swift-Lite Coals for this.
10. You are now ready to start to smoke your High-Life Hookah - a couple of long draws to begin with should start the smooth smoke flowing! |
